Douglas Baldry (President) Board Member since 2021
Douglas currently works as an Assistant Branch Manager at the Vancity Savings, Langley Community Branch leading a team of account managers who specialize in mortgage and personal lending. Outside of the branch, Douglas facilitates financial literacy seminars covering topics like budgeting, saving and managing debt. When Douglas is not working, his time is usually spent with his husband and two dogs, relaxing at home on a small hobby farm in rural Langley.

Lindsay Kaminsky (Treasurer) Board Member since 2021
Lindsay currently works at Rise CPA as a Partner. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University. She is a mental health advocate and community supporter and has been a volunteer for multiple organizations throughout the lower mainland.

Mike Pue (Secretary) Board Member since 2021
In 2001, Mike started his teaching career in Langley and made the decision to live here as well. Mike currently resides in the Walnut Grove area with his wife and their daughter. As a long-time employee of the Langley School District, Mike has worked as a teacher and school-based administrator in a number of neighbourhoods throughout the Langley area. Currently, Mike is the Principal of Walnut Grove Secondary.

Gary Robinson (Director) Board Member since 2023
Gary and his wife, Joanne, have lived in the Langley area for over the past 30 years raising 3 children in the community where they attend school. Gary has worked in Social Services for over 35 years with South Vancouver Neighbourhood House, as a Youth Worker and Program Manager, from 1990 to 2005. Tired of commuting from Langley to Vancouver, Gary started working with Xyolhemeylh in 2005 as a Community Engagement Worker and later on served as an Indigenous Liaison and Program Manager with the Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society (LFVAS) until 2018. Currently, Gary is somewhat retired doing contract work with LFVAS as a Facilitator for "Bringing Tradition Home-Indigenous Parenting Circle". He also serves as an Elder for Inclusion Langley’s Circle of Security and visits with Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society’s Head Start and After School Programs. Gary loves and sees the importance of agency networking and community engagement.

Monica Rudd (Director) Board Member since 2023
Monica has been practicing exclusively family law in the Langley area since completing her law degree at Thompson Rivers University in 2018. Monica successfully provides legal representation at both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court levels, and achieves positive outcomes for clients in private mediations through skillful, efficient problem-solving and advocacy. Monica was raised in White Rock, B.C., and is now a resident of Langley. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors locally and across the province, walking the family dog, painting landscapes and flora, and practicing yoga.

Jessica Bain lives in Langley with her family and has dedicated over 30 years to education. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, counsellor, and now as a Principal. Jessica is a passionate advocate for inclusive education, diversity, trauma-informed practices, and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. In addition to her leadership in schools, she has her RCC (Registered Clinical Counsellor) designation through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), further strengthening her commitment to supporting the well-being of students and families.

She is currently working at Simon Fraser University as an Indigenous Student Life Coordinator, while pursuing a Certificate in Non-Profit Management at SFU. With 12 years of non-profit experience working and volunteering in Langley, Katie has dedicated herself to supporting urban Indigenous individuals through culture in child development, education, housing and navigation, serving all demographics. Her own journey of cultural reclamation and passing tradition to her daughter has deepened her commitment to supporting all Indigenous People on their journey toward healing and cultural connection. She firmly believes that culture saves lives. Outside of her professional work, Katie enjoys drawing, painting, ceramics, cedar and wool weaving, drumming, and singing.

Andres Jaramillo is a people, strategy, and culture leader with over 15 years of international experience in human resources, organizational development, workforce strategy, and business transformation. Originally from Colombia and now based in the Lower Mainland, Andres currently leads HRIS and Analytics at Vancity Credit Union. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations navigate change, align people and business strategies, build inclusive workplaces, and strengthen employee experiences through data-informed decision-making. He is excited about the opportunity to contribute his
expertise in governance, strategy, and people leadership in support of Encompass' mission and the
communities it serves.

Pam Bhatti was born and raised in the lower mainland to immigrant parents from India. She is a criminal lawyer serving as Crown Counsel with the British Columbia Prosecution Service since 2003. She obtained an Honours Degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 2002. She is committed to public service and passionate about justice. She has volunteered and served on the board of several non-profit organizations and networks dedicated to equality, access
to justice and violence prevention. Outside these pursuits, she enjoys time with
husband, her 3 children, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
