Executive Directors of Encompass Support Services Society
While our name and programs have evolved over the years, the basic premise of Encompass Support Services Society has remained the same - to provide accessible services that are tailored to meet the changing needs of the individuals and diverse community we serve. Our guiding mission of strengthening the health and vitality of our community by identifying and responding to community needs, collaborating to enhance the lives of those we serve, and cultivating effective, sustainable partnerships continues to ground us in everything we do.

Christine McCracken (Executive Director of Programs)
Christine became the Co-Executive Director in August 2018, after 9 years of working for Encompass in a variety of leadership and management roles. She has been a resident of Langley for 18 years and has worked in the non-profit sector since 2000, starting out as a front line worker with youth and families. Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. Through opportunities to develop new projects and community initiatives, and leading diverse programs from Childcare to Clinical Services, Christine has strengthened her knowledge and skill base while continuing to challenge and advance her leadership capacity.

Loren Roberts (Executive Director of Operations)
Loren became the Co-Executive Director in August 2018, after 9 years of working for Encompass in a variety of capacities. Loren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Loren has worked with youth addictions, foster care/adoption, youth justice, and adult parole supervision in a variety of front line, manager and director roles. Dedicated to ongoing quality improvement, Loren is also a Surveyor with CARF International. His passions are in collaborating with community, developing individuals, and improving the quality of services.
